Before Christianity, the apple was seen as a magical and powerful symbol of wholeness. When cut horizontally, the seeds on the inside expose a five-pointed star, sacred to many witches and folk magic practitioners.
Each star point represents an element: air, fire, water, earth, and spirit. Combining these elements creates wholeness, both within and outside of us. By reclaiming these sacred symbols, we can become more whole.
